An automated soldering process for producing cell strings.



FSM Solar's automated soldering process minimizes stress on solar cells, breakage rates and micro cracks producing high quality soldered cell strings. Interconnect up to 600 solar cells per hour with high yield by either high intensity IR Lamp or Hot Air soldering with preheating stations. Precise cell alignment and inspection paired with advanced ribbon technology optimizes soldering quality & minimizes rework.

    Cell String Lay Up System

    An automated transport & placement process for completed cell strings
    FSM Solar's automated cell string Lay Up System minimizes handling and improves quality process. Accurately transport and align completed cell strings for module layout placement. Automatic 180° cell string rotation to reverse polarity. The 4-Axis servo drive position system gently picks and places completed string layouts onto glass prior to material spreading and lamination.

    Material Spreading System

    FSM Solar's automated Material Spreading System allows for easy hands-free module material layup & cutting of both EVA & backsheet prior to lamination. Two spreading systems complete with glass storage & delivery system.

    Solar Module Laminator

    An automated lamination process for solar modules
    FSM Solar's automated Solar Module Laminator series provides precise heating control +/- 3.6°F (2°C) with lamination areas up to 140" x 95" (3600 x 2400mm). The unique pin-lift system allows for smooth & controlled heat transfer for added control. The Solar Module Laminator can be integrated into a fully automated production line or be operated independently.
